ONLY BELIEVE MINISTRIES
NEWS LETTER
OCTOBER 15, 2007
INDIA BOUND

Can you believe it?  Here it is the middle of October already!  It seems like we just returned from India and now, here we are preparing to go again!  Our trip is scheduled for January, 2008.  We will be leaving on the third and returning on the seventeenth.  We are so excited!

God has given us big plans for this trip!  There will be another women's conference with Pastor's wives and the teachers of Christ Fellowship Ministry.  Last year we had around fifty women.  There will also be a Pastor's conference going on at the same time as the women's conference.  Dr. Roger Price will be handling that part of it.

We will also get to spend much time with the children of Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage!  Praise the Lord!  We can't wait to see those smiling little faces again!  We are taking a sister in the Lord along with us this year that has never been with us before.  Her name is Sue Dismang.  She is amazing with children and has planned to have a three day prayer camp with the children.  It is called Camp Warhorse.  She will be teaching the children how to pray scripture!  We know the children are going to love her.

We will also get to see the new widow's home.  Please pray that it will be finished quickly.  We are planning on spending some quality time with the widow's in the home.  They have been a long time without love and we can't wait to pamper them and love on them a bit.  We are planning to buy each widow in the home a new saree (the clothing they  wear) and some shoes.  We also want to spend some time ministering to them.

Please keep this upcoming trip in your prayers.  Pray that God's will is accomplished and that we are very sensitive to what He wants us to do while we are there.

Thank you for your love, support and your prayers.

GRANDMA'S HOUSE

Building on Grandma's House (the widow's home) has come to a standstill due to a severe rainy season.  Pastor Joseph has informed us the building will have two rooms for the widows and a new room for the orphans.  While the frame of the building is coming along, funds are still needed for the roof, paint, windows, doors and bathrooms.  Special bathrooms are needed for the elderly women.  We received a generous donation that will provide most of the financing for the extra room being added on to Grandma's House for the orphan children.  We would like to thank everyone who has given to this project.  Your love and generous donations are making a huge difference in the lives of people around the world.  We thank you.     (scroll down for pictures of the widow's home being built)

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED AT JAHNAVI'S HEART ORPHANAGE

Well, it's been one year (actually a little over a year) since the first child was brought in off the streets of India and placed in the loving care of Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage.  WOW!  Look what the Lord has done.

Pastor Joseph held a celebration in honor of the occasion.  He called it a "Thanksgiving Service."  The children were there along with the elders of his church and all of his family.  They sang songs and praised God for the grace He has granted them and the blessings He continues to pour out on them.

Pastor Joseph and his wife shared all the experiences they have had over the past year.  After the celebration, they all came together and had a "Love Feast." He said it was a wonderful time for everyone.

Thank you all for your continued loyalty in supporting the child you have chosen to care for.  Pastor Joseph, Sony and the children pray for you continually and send their love to you each time we communicate with them.

POLIO DROPS
Pastor Joseph contacted a public health clinic and had some doctors agree to visit Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage and administer Polio drops to the children.  Praise the Lord!
SINGING COMPETITION
Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage held a singing competition last month for the children.  Sony said the children had a wonderful time and some of the children were very talented.  There may be some praise and worship leaders in the making!  She said the winners received dresses which tells us the boys might not have come out very well in the competitions!  Oh well, hang in there boys!

TWO WIDOWS SUPPORTED
More good news!  Two out of ten widows now have new supporters.  Eight other widows are still in need of sponsors.  If you know of anyone who might like to be a part of this ministry, please pass this newsletter along to them or have them contact us.  Supporting a widow would be a great project for a Sunday school class or a church to get involved with .  The widows we have profiled have no place to live and no one to care for them.  They are weak and in need of medical attention.  If you would like to support a widow contact us.

FLOOD PROBLEMS IN INDIA
As we stated earlier, this is the rainy season in India.  The rain has caused much devastation in the area.  Pastor Joseph reported that many villages have been cut off from the outside world because of the flooding.  He said a village called Ponnada which is very near to his village is totally in water.  The water has filled the homes of the people.  All of the roads are under water and there is no electricity.  The villagers have had to leave the village and are now living under the trees without food or shelter.

Pastor Joseph and his family have also suffered because of the heavy rains.  Power surges have fried the hard drive on his computer and their electrical appliances have also been damaged due to electrical problems.

Please keep Pastor Joseph, his family, the orphanage and the surrounding villages in your prayers.  This is a very difficult time for them.  If you would like to help, please contact us.

Amen."  Philippians 4:17-20
