Below are six pictures and profiles of children who need sponsors. We have several others who are in need of a sponsor and will periodically change out the pictures, replacing the ones who receive a sponsor with another child in need. Please contact us if you would like to sponsor a child that is pictured and we will send you the picture and profile of your child. You will also receive one or two letters from your child each year. We visit the children each year in January and bring home current and up to date pictures of your child. We will then send you the new pictures of you child.
Please contact us if you would be interested in sponsoring a child. Each child already has one sponsor but two sponsors are needed per child. Sponsorship is $24.00 a month. We also ask that you share our website with anyone that you think may like to get involved.

Divya and Jyothi are twin sisters! Their father worked in a rock quarry. He suffered from lung damage from breathing the rock dust and died when the girls were only 5 years. Their mother stayed wtih the girls for a year after that and then just left them. A local pastor tried to take care of them but he was unable to provide for them. He abandoned them after caring for them for just a short time. They came into the orphanage in a very bad condition. They each need a sponsor.
This is Mergu Naga Raju. He is 10 years old. His mother was blind and his father was deaf and could not speak. They could not care for him and he was left to live in the streets. Some villagers gave him food until he reached the age that he should attend school. At that point they too turned their backs on him because they did not want the responsibility of caring for him. He was malnourished and alone when he came into Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage.
Siva Kumar Kondi is 8 years old. His father was an alcoholic and severly abused his mother. One day he cut her throat and killed her. He then took poison and killed himself. Siva Kumar had no other family and was left to fend for himself. A villager dropped him off at the orphanage. He is in need of a sponsor.
Arun Vallapu Kumar is 8 years old. His father was a stone crusher. The father was injured at work and could no longer care for his family. Arun's mother abandonded them. Villagers took in the father and helped care for him but would not take Arun. He was left alone with no one to care for him.
S. Akhila is a 9 year old little girl whose father left her when she was very small. She lived with her mother and they were very poor. She loved her mother very much and was heartborken when her mother died. She lived on the streets until she was taken into Jahnavi's Heart. She is in need of a sponsor.
