ONLY BELIEVE MINISTRIES
NEWS LETTER
January 31,2008
Well, we made it back safe and sound just as we knew we would.  No problems on this trip, praise the Lord.  We say it every year and have to say it again....THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP EVER!

Where to begin?  First of all this trip was special because we had wonderful team.  Most of them were the same ones that go every year, Dr. Roger Price (our dear friend and mentor), we,the sisters ( Cindy, Terry, and Angie), Mickey Stanley (our dear friend), and Peggy Sisco (our dear friend and prayer warrior), but this year we were blessed by two newbies.  Yes, our dear sister in the Lord, Sue Dismang came along with us this year as did our precious Pastor, Chad Everett.  They rounded out the team quite nicely and wow, what a blessing they were to have along.

It is always fun when people go who have never gone before.  We have talked about going to India for several years but words can't describe the place to do it justice.  You have to visit there to truly appreciate it and get the picture.  We believe Sue and Pastor Chad got the picture this year, and fell in love with India just as we have.

We started out this trip with a Pastor's Conference and a Women's Conference for the first three days. Pastor Chad and Dr. Price preached the Pastor's Conference and Cindy, Terry, Angie, Sue, and Peggy spoke at the Women's Conference.

The Women's Conference was for Pastor's wives, teachers and women in leadership.  The theme was Women of Victory.  The women were wonderful receiving the word with hunger and expectation.

The last day of the conference our team of women took time with each individual woman in attendance and prayed for each need.  We were overwhelmed with the prayer requests or lack there of.  Although these women face circumstances that most of us will never face, and have needs that most of us will never know, nearly all their requests were for one thing only.  They ask that we pray for the salvation of their village.  Very few ask for personal needs to be prayed for even though each woman faced great difficulty in their lives.

We were very humbled and honored to be in the presence of these mighty women of God.  Please keep these ladies in your prayers.  Our desire was to strengthen and encourage them, yet we were the ones strengthened and encouraged by them.  They are truly remarkable.

Mickey went into the villages to gather information from village women regarding their physical and spiritual needs.  Mickey is an RN who has a heart for healthcare in the villages.  God has given her a vision for a medical clinic and a birthing center in this area someday.  She is now gathering information in preparation and waiting on God to move in this area.

Camp Warhorse, what fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We at Only Believe Ministries, highly recommend this camp.  It is a camp for children which is designed to teach them how to incorporate God's word into their prayer.  We have had this camp at our own church and let us tell you it is producing little prayer warriors.  It is the passion and project for Sue Dismang.  We had the privilege of working along side of her as she ministered to the children of Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage.

Sue has been praying for orphans for twenty five years and this was her first visit to an orphanage.   We were all amazed as the children began to quote scripture from memory after only a few minutes of the camp.

The camp consists of three prayer stations all working  at the same time.  The children rotate from station to station after thirty minutes at each station.  Crafts and/or activities are conducted at each station with prayer incorporated into all.  The children were amazing.  The camp concentrates on a single prayer focus.  The prayer focus for this camp was the salvation of villagers in the nearby villages.

The camp is normally held for one day only, yet this one ran for three days, an hour and a half each day.  It was an awesome time.

If you would like more information on Camp Warhorse or would like to have it come to your church for your children, contact us.

Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage

Nothing can describe our joy of seeing the children.  We were bombarded with hugs and kisses and squeals of delight.  The children of Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage are thriving!  They are happy, and healthy, loved and cared for greatly and it shows all over their little faces.

We spent a great amount of time with the children this year.  They entertained us with songs and a Christmas Program.  They wanted to spend Christmas with us, so they put up a little tree and a nativity set and blessed each one of us with a gift wrapped in shiny Christmas paper.  It was wonderful.

We also had an entire day of nothing but playing with the children.  We played, Duck- Duck- Goose, Musical Chairs, Tug of War, Ball Frisbee, Jump Rope and anything else they could think of.  It was a great day and I don't know who enjoyed it more, us or the children!

We took each child a fold out fan, party horns and cross necklaces, and a pair of neon sunglasses.  What a sight to see 61 children decked out in their shades!

And, yes we said 61 children.  We have eleven new children that have bee taken into Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage.  This means that more room is needed.  Plans for additional rooms for the children have begun.  The cost for the additional room is twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00).

That sounds like a lot of money, but to our Father, it is pocket change.  Please keep this need in your prayers because extra rooms are definitely needed.  The rooms will be added on top of the widows home.

New sponsors for most of the new children have already stepped forward and we are happy to welcome them to our family.

If you would like to sponsor a child or the orphanage, please contact us for more information.

Grandma's House

Last year, God gave us a vision to have a home built for widows.  Our vision was to build a home next to Jahnavi's Heart Orphanage.  By doing this, the children could help with the widows and the widow could help with the children.  We saw this as a way for the orphan children to have the love of a grandma and the widow to have the love of a grandchild.

That was the vision and we were pleased to find the widow's home called Grandma's House, nearly completed with eleven widow being moved in when we arrived.  This could not have been accomplished without your support.  We thank you as does each widow that now has a roof over her head and food to eat.  The ladies were pulled from the streets.  Some were living under trees, and all were begging for food and weak.

Because of the love gifts that some of sent along with us on this trip we were able to purchase a mattress and a blanket for each widow.  They were so thankful and send you their love and their thankfulness.

Grandma's House is run like the orphanage with a sponsor for each widow.  Sponsorship is $48.00 a month.  Eight out of eleven widows have already been sponsored.

It is also possible to just sponsor the home.  Additional funds are needed to help provide for cooks and caretakers.  The widows have special needs due to their age and health issues and require more help with everyday situations.

Persecution in South India is on the increase.  An organization called the RSS is becoming more of a threat to Christians in the fishing villages.  The RSS is a radical Hindu group that fights hard against the growth of Christianity.

Last month a group of villagers led by the RSS came to Christ Fellowship Ministries ad removed five children from the orphanage.  The sponsors of these children have been notified.  The villagers said these children were from their village and it was a disgrace to have them being raised as Christians.  They said the village gods were very angry.  They removed the children and placed them in a Hindu orphanage.  It broke our hearts.

There are also Pastors being beaten and thrown out of villages.  Others are being refused food.  Your prayers are needed in these areas.  Please pray protection over the children and Christ Fellowship Ministries along with all the other pastors throughout India.
Once again, we at Only Believe Ministries would like to thank all of you who keep us covered in your prayers.  We thank all of you who have given into this ministry prayerfully, financially, and physically .  We love you all and pray a hundred fold return on the seed you have sown through this ministry.  We pray God's blessings upon you and your whole family.

God Bless you all,
Cindy, Terry, and Angie
